Morristown is the capital of Morris County, making it one of the biggest and most popular areas in Morris County. Not only is their medical center ranked to be one of the tops but so is their town. This town was ranked #861 out of #6,788 for one of the best suburbs to live in America leaving it in the top 12%. Morristown is the ideal place for any young folk or family to move into.

Morristown and Morris Township are very similar in regards to school district and system. All children residing in Morristown are sent to the public Morris School District. Morris School District holds a Pre- K program as well as Kindergarten through 12th grade. They’re 6 Elementary schools which hold different grades than following there is one Middle school and one High school. Morristown is also home to a collection of private schools which are also available for kids in surrounding areas including Morristown.
Morristown has its very own vibrant and lively downtown area. With plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and so much more. The town is very walkable which leaves so many options for residents and visitors to choose from. At the heart of the town lives the 2 ½ acre Morristown Green or better known as to locals, “The Green.” Many historical monuments can be found on this green dating all the way back to 1715. Also paths and park benches can be found for a midday stroll and relaxation among the beautiful landscaping. Local food trucks tend to situate themselves around The Green, so if looking for a quick bite be sure to stop by. If looking for a longer dining experience be sure to check out some of Morristown's favorite dining spots also situated around the green such as, Roots Steakhouse, The Committed Pig, Office Tavern and Grill and significantly more.
Morristown has its very own station located at 132 Morris Street in Morristown, relatively close to downtown. It has 2 platforms and runs along the Morris and Essex line which starts at Dover and takes you to New York Penn Station. Along the Morris and Essex Line is Morristown's neighboring station Convent Station located in Morris Township which surrounds Morristown. All within close proximity to each other.
Morristown also has an award winning hospital, Morristown Memorial Hospital. This medical center is owned by Atlantic Health System and lives to be one of the largest medical centers owned by them. This Hospital was ranked the best hospital in New Jersey for the 4th year in a row by U.S. News and World Report.
